I used to own a Mazda and I have driven a Hyundai. None of the rest, though. I did sit in the driver’s seat of a Lotus Exige before. Does that count for anything?

I suppose it counts as much as me sitting in the driver’s seat of an XL1, the only time I’ve ever been behind a VW wheel!

I’ve driven a few VW's, always fun and inoffensively cheap. Think I've driven a Mazda 3 once, no Hyundai but I own a Kia. Couple of Saabs, there a blast. I sat in a Ferrari F355 once.

VW - Various Jettas

Mazda - 2

Hyundai - Some shitty rental

Kia - Forte, Soul

Seat Daihatsu Saab

Ferrari, Lambo, Jaaaag, Aston Martin, Porsche - Nope, not common at the rental counter I’m afraid.

Aw man how was the F355?

Come to think of it, I’ve been in one too.

Never driven Skoda, Seat, Daihatsu, Renault, Citroen, TVR but that’s probably because I have spent most of my time in the USA.

I Have driven just about every other brand excepting the super low production brands, spyker, morgan ... Perks of Valet

The thing that sticks out in my mind the most was how low it was to the ground. You could open the door and reach out and touch pavement. I don’t recall it being particularly mesmerizing inside. The gated shifter was cool though.

Close enough, I guess. Other brands I’ve never driven: Audi. Anything American, excluding a Dodge Magnum and EU-Fords and Opels. Anything British, Swedish or Russian. Luxury Japanese car brands (good luck finding one here). Alfa Romeo. Smart.

I had a Mazda3 rental for the last few days. First modern Mazda that I’ve driven (like newer than 2000). Ride and handling were very good but the rest car was pretty junky. For the price they want it’s no wonder they don’t sell as well as their competition.

Oh, I forgot Alfa. And real Volvos - I’ve only driven a 66.

Must remember to take Hyundai off that list - I drove an i10 around Iceland a couple of years ago.
